Issues with ABS, ASC system
Alright guys this is a very confusing issue and I'm just not sure where else to start so I figured I'd ask the guys here with experience.
2010 Lancer Ralliart
1. I replaced my SST with a new rebuilt one, after this replacement I was getting C1219, and C2205 codes and the ASC light was on but the car still drove fine.
C1219 abnormality in steering wheel sensor signal
C2205: internal malfunction of steering wheel sensor
2. I ordered a MUT3 tool to reset the zero on the steering angle position sensor since it was working fine before the trans swap.
3. Got the MUT3 tool hooked up and calibrated the steering angle sensor and went to clear the codes and the ABS light started flashing. The two codes are still stored and no new codes exist, however now the ABS light flashes constantly and makes the annoying beep noise when it does. The only thing I could find that's not correct is that all of the wheel speeds sensors read 0.47MPH when moving or not.so I'm not sure what happened or where to go from here.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That sounds super annoying dude. Nothing worse than those asc, ayc, abs, etc DTCs that come up and beep on the cluster. Did the rebuilt trans have all the sensors in it already? Or did you swap them from the old one? If the sensors came in the new trans, they could be from a different year evo x. Is your steering wheel centered normally when youre driving straight? Having it off center triggers those lights. Also the VSS can effect what wheel sensors are doing. I would make sure all the grounds are attached on the tranny harness, and that nothing got pinched on the install. MRT Performance has a youtube channel with a lot of content about the SST and its pitfalls/common failures, maybe check that out.
I once did a driveway alignment and had the steering wheel move on me while i was doing the toe on one of the front wheels. The car tracked straight but the steering wheel was like 5-6 degrees off center. The car would instantly throw abs, asc, sawc, and ayc fault lights. Once i re did the alignment and centered the wheel, it fixed the problem. Its interesting that all the wheel sensor voltages are off. Thats what makes me wonder about incorrect sensors in the tranny. Theres def year to year variations on certain sensors, but idk the specifics. Start with the simple stuff though, Check the obvious things ppl forget when they do big jobs on cars. A ground could be lose, a connector not pushed in fully, even a wire pulled out from a plug just enough to cause a intermittent voltage interruption.
So, thats all i got for the moment. Good luck with it, dont get too frustrated. Eventually youll sort it out. If you end up chasing your tail, maybe call someone in the industry that deals a lot with SSTs, like MRT, Jacks or Sheps. They might have come across a similar issue. When you figure it out, be sure to come back and post the cause and fix. -WILL
