So the smell you are getting is normal for a vent to atmosphere catch can like you have. Put the hvac on recirculate and you should be good to go, make sure you drain it every few tanks of fuel

I wouldnt call it "normal" if PCV isnt working. you can vent-to-atmosphere and still port crankcase blowby to pcv/intake, so it doesnt stink when idling or cruising

For the set up he has it is completely normal to smell the smells he is getting. From the looks of it, the pcv is still on there and he just has the drivers side breather port routed to the catch can. I would personally run both lines from the engines breather ports to that catch can and block off the port on the intake manifold.

Wild, I don't have a pcv and have the same catch can as the OP and get the same smell on both of my cars with the catch cans. Which is to be expected when your're collecting a liter of blow by gases in a can with breather ports on top with constant air coming out of the engine crank case and into the catch can. Ours must be broken

yeah welders everywhere are in a race to sell catch cans and stuff. we can see there are buyers who would be ok sniffing fumes. SAE certified techs so give them your money

Hello guys I found the part, so for the late response I have a crack on the manifold. So I gotta replace or weld it.

Sometimes O rings can deteriorate over time and it will leak there which is a big problem.
