It definitely doesn't look to me like an "Evolution," like the article mentions. It just doesn't look good at all. It looks like a cheap ricer.
I really like the rendition that Joey posted above, but it was mentioned that it's basically a photoshopped VI or VII.

As of right now I have the money for Evo IX i was going to get next month, until I seen this. It looks more aggressive then the Evo VII - IX series, though the interior can use a lil bit of work around the dash area. Also another thing is that Mitsubishi still has another year maybe less, before they put this out for production. It's due out the same time as the Skyline GTR and everything we look for in Evo will probally be on the car when they are ready to release it.
One more thing I doubt they would get rid of the manual transmission but instead just have different versions of the Evo X. One being manual and the other with their new paddle shifting automatic. All in all I think they did good on the Evo X it looks like a beefed out Evo V - VI

the concord ca mitsu dealer has them just sitting there and they park the mr on the grass in front. i drive buy them every day on the the way to work and i only noticed that the sold a white one so they have plenty in there
i'm sure the looks will be different, if only a little bit. cars always change from pre-production pictures to actual production models. always have, always will.
with that said, i'm glad i have an IX headed my way. i'm done with aluminum blocked motors.
i'll be really interested to see if they take this shape to WRC, because it doesn't look very competitive.

They're equally as horrible. They both look like crap.
