Hmmm, I think it's entirely possible that they might increase the price dramatically... take a look at the 3000GT prices between 1991 to 1994... it went up about $3k each year in that time frame... from $31k to $41k.
I sort of expect about a $3k price increase and will not be too surprised if it's even more...
Original MSRP of 3000GT VR-4:
1991 - $31.4k
1992 - $34.2k
1993 - $38.2k
1994 - $41.3k
1995 - $43.9k
1996 - $45.6k
1997 - $44.6k
1998 - $46.2k
1999 - $44.6k

I really like the EVO X. Its different and that makes it nice. I still love the IX the best, but this is growing on me. I don't like the wheels that they threw on this for these production pics, looks too much like the V to me(some will like that). Bring back the Gunmetal BBS's. Does anybody else see the SRT-4 NEON bumper, from halfway down? The Fog-Lights seem to be almost identical?
That looks means as hell. I think this would be a good subject for a photochop contest. Think we will start one
The pics that Mits posted are computer generated.. I wish they were actual photos.. Still cant hold true to what the car will look like until you see it in person..
Hate the wheels.. Not liking the little fog lights either..

aluminum block!!!
i dont think that will hold as much boost as the 8's and 9's can handle!
The only figures we care about: an expected 300 or more horses from the new high-performance 2.0-liter turbocharged MIVEC engine. This lightweight mill has an aluminum cylinder block

I think the rims look petty good, i think they'll have some similar looking rims on the MR like they had on the concept x. Still looks great. Can't wait to see it in person, and drive it home.

Who cares if it has an aluminum block. Welcome to 2007. Technology is a wonderful thing. If it has sleeves, and runs way more efficiently then it makes its power easier. K20 motors have aluminum blocks and there are 700+hp K20's floating around.
The turbo placement doesnt matter either. I swear. Do some of you go onto other car forums? Do some research. Companies like Full Race, and AMS have figured out ways to get big turbo kits on cars with motor configurations like that. Its not rocket science, you jsut have to think outside the box. Im sorry the turbo wont be right where you want it so when you open the hood, you can stare at it in wonder, and amazement .
The 4g is a great motor, but its old. Time for somethign fresh and new, with newer tech into it.

It's too heavy at 3500lbs
. If I go evo i'd probably be getting the new M3 at 3500lbs. Or go ugly with STi which is 50lbs lighter and 6pod brakes. I guess either way i'll probably skip the evo this time around

I can't believe I'm dreaming about getting this car so much and we still have almost a year to go....
I don't like the red in the new photos - the red in the prototype looks much better. I wish they'd show us some other colours.
