Yeah but think how well that setup might perform on a X with S-AWC...is kinda the point...

Best Motoring Dec 2007 - Evo X test drive (Japanese language only)
Includes SST - note at least one gear change approaching 8K rpm...so I guess it's not so much of a nanny-drive...

LOL No wonder nobody is watching this thread, there is an Evo X forum (haven't bothered to look at the actual community page in quite a while). Someone please close this thread...
4B11 is tuned for emissions bull **** from the factory. heck thats a main reason for the new motor. Watch what happens when some capable tuners get their hand on that ecu.... I hope power explodes so I may actually want to buy one.

well the Evo X finally went on sale here. saw it today at the Cherry Hill Mitsu show room. sticker price is $40,XXX MSRP for GSR.
i sat in it and it's pretty comfortable. the extended door sill is kinda wide and you have to be careful not to step on it when you get out. overall the car looks pretty damn nice.
the dash is much better, but not as good as i thought it would be in the pic. then again, i don't REALLY care about the dash, but it's a good improvement. the steering wheel looks and feels fancier with all the buttons and such. while it's nice, i do like the old barebones racing wheel better.
