Looking how to remove AC cover panel?

Like it says. Seeing if anyone one has the part of the manual to remove the center part that houses the HVAC controls. Thanks in advance CJ

This is the Evo X Forum. What you are describing is removal of the AC panel for the 8 and 9. I think the 10 is a bit more involved.

I have a X now. Yep after reading it the second time pulling it will not work. The knobs also don't come off. I went ahead and order a service manual and will post up pics for anyone interested. I am planning on installing a boost gauge just below the A/C pannel above the ashtray and lighter in the little cubby type space.

Do not pull on it! Basically, you have to remove the long plastic centerpiece (really fake CF looking piece), and then remove the radio panel. You have to remove these to access the two screws which hold the A/C panel in place. Once the screws are removed, you can gently pull the panel off.

Thanks RKT SHP. that helps out a lot. I figured it had some screws hiding.

Do you need service manual screenshots?
