fuel pump mod

if anybody is looking to upgrade to a walbro 255 pump here is a site with a foam pump housing, flex line, and hose clams which is the same set-up that ultimate racing is using. The only difference is ultimate racing dont use the foam housing they make a billet housing. I ordered all 3 parts for under 8.00 shipped.

Great Find I wonder how reliable it will be. If it turns out good I might just do the same.

what size pump sleeve did you go with?

You sure that foam sock will be thick enough? The standard ones that come with the walbro kits would not nearly fill the void needed....if you make this work, TAKE PICS!

this is the largest foam sock size that you can get, it will be close to the same size as the stock fuel pump housing. The stock housing isn't a tight fit either. I bought this as a back-up because I did the modification to the stock housing to make the walbro pump fit and I didnt know if I would get it to work or not. So far I have'nt needed to do this yet, but I dont see having any problems with using this set-up

wow, I ordered my parts friday and got them by lunch today. Here they are, add a walbro pump and your set-up. Any questions on install look at ultimate-racing fuel pump kit it goes in just like it.
