Bought my Evo last Wed...I took off the Mitsu and Lancer badges Thursday night. Looks way better.

 

Good choice! I also left the mitsu logo and evolution badge.

 

I just keep wondering if the thought of debading is to bring the tail back to an early EVO style? I want to yank the Evolution and SE badges off so that it blends in with every other compact out there. Why advertise? And without the large wing on the tail there really is no advertisement.

 

if i were painting my badges, what is the best way to put them back on?

 

Tommy Boy, What color? google plastic dip you can coat them with out having to take them off.

 

Great how to. Did mine last week. Took out the Mitsubishi, Lancer, & Evolution Badge. Looks cleaner and nicer. Took about 5 mins. Props to the OP.

 

The dang floss kept breaking for me too. I used a zip tie and it was pretty effective. I looked for fishing line but didn't have any

 

did this just now looks so much better. i used fishing line to remove it then goo gone. i just left the evolution sign i love how it looks

 

it was a warm day and i just pulled them off. you need to be careful pulling too far out as the emblem will crack and jab into the paint. i got 1 tiny chip from the 'evolution' part

florist wire and safflower oil - worked fine. Still undecided on whether I'm going to leave the Evolution on there.
