Finally upgraded shiftboot!
Finally upgraded shiftboot!
Okay, this is my second evo, and I must say it's hard to miss my old beloved IX. This is an awesome car inside and out. But WTF is up with the disgusting, cheap, nasty shiftboot they give us 5 speed'rs? Even the CT9A has a decent boot. But in the X it was truly an eyesore for me and couldn't wait to upgrade it. Here comes in RedlineGoods......I ordered the basic of the basic: Black Italian leather, regular stitching, no options.
When the boot came I was truly impressed; I definitely underestimated the quality. Installation took 5 minutes. Here are some before and afters...

This little mod sharpened up the interior drastically imo. The boot is solid and the quality is bar none, the same if not better than my past M3's. If you do a shortshifter, spent the 40 bucks and change it all up while you're at it. Anyway, 10/10 from me. Props to RedlineGoods

Hey, on the T1R that is suede, i was wondering if it collected a lot of dust, lint, or like dead skin particles, you know what i mean? A cured leather seems like it would be easier to clean and maintain..am i trippin or is there truth in this?
