*** Official Plasti Dip/Flat/Matte Evo Xs Thread *** [MERGED]
This is what Performix posted:
"A lot of folks are wondering about Plasti Dip’s “working temperature” range. Plasti Dip has been tested in temperatures from -30°F all the way up to +200°F. It maintains its flexibility, stretchiness, and other physical characteristics throughout this entire scale. Plasti Dip won’t get brittle or crack in the cold, and it won’t melt or become overly rubbery at high temps."
DipYourCar FAQs state:
"Plasti Dip is heat resistant up to 312 degrees F. Dipped wheels have a great record holding up to the heat and abuse from racing or rally events"

Can you put dip on top of dip. Like it i paint the car one solid color. then wanted to spray some parts a different color would that cause issues or would it work fine. Also would it start to peel easier if the second color did not go to an edge of the car but was in an open part of a panal. like a racing strip as an example, but dont worry im not putting a racing strip on my evo.
thanks
