what you are spraying can be cold, just buy a cheapo heat gun or hair dryer and use it on the can of plast dip and keep it nice and hot, itll spray and stick wayyyyy better

Sprayed my wheels black over the weekend. Had a little more texture than I would have liked but I'm not sure if it was a result of using rattle cans, cooler temperatures (it was about 50deg in my garage), my technique or a combination. Do the rattle cans leave more of a texture or was it just me he he?

So...let me get this straight. Im a retard with this as of now lol.

This sheeit just sprays right on to the cars existing clear coat? And 100% peels off if I dont want it on any more? It doesn't peel off like one of those terrible stickers that youre not supposed to remove but try removing and it takes you 2 days for a 2"x2" sticker right?? lol

Id love to try this with my car if there was a non-metallic grey.

Correct, it's not a sticker or anything like that, it's a spray-on rubber coating. When you apply it thick (4-5 coats), it will peel off in one big piece, with absolutely no residue left behind. Much better than wraps IMO. I have plasti-dipped very many friends cars (grilles, emblems, wheels, etc), so I'm excited to do my whole Evo matte clear, to make it matte white.

@OP Wow that looks suprisingly neat and clean. how durable is it ? will it chip with rocks and other things that hit it when you're driving ? is it easy to maintain as far cleaning it ? and say part of it gets scuffed up , if you resprayed plastidip over it will it come out uneven compared to the other areas of the car that were already plastidipped ?
