This was my Evo X wrapped in Olympic Blue, took the car back to stock and my friends and I decided to mess around with the Plasti dip (inspired by Jeremy SSP's Camo GTR) we were going to finish the white and grey but just decided to take off the wrap lol.

We peeled off all the plasti dip just curious to see how the vinyl would uphold after the dip being on it and the plasti dip peeled off just like a sticker, very minimal residue (only in places where the coat wasnt thick enough) and the vinyl was perfect, and then we started peeling that off lol.

My biggest problem with plastidip is everything looks matte. I want a nice glossy texture to the paint... not the texture of a filthy piece of chalk.

You can buy a glossifier that gives a glossy look. Not sure how glossy it looks though.

I've seen demos of the glossifier and i'm less than impressed. I love the idea of plasti dip, i just wish you could get a typical factory-like shine out of the paint.

I've seen some awesome stuff regarding colors & pearl powders being added to plastidip to achieve some really fantastic stuff. But still, no shine. And unfortunately due to the nature of the plasti dip, you can't buff a shine into it.

I want to Plasti Dip my entire car...Will I need anything besides the Pro Kit? Like a compressor or any other tools to paint it?

Thanks!
