painful question

don't know where else to turn, embarrassing as this is to admit. i plasti dipped my rear mitsubishi emblem black and got over spray on to my paint because of my bad masking job. anyway i read somewhere goo gone takes it off so i put of of that on a rag and start wiping it down and most of it comes off but i got a lot of places where its still black from the plastidip. (my evo is WW so its super visible)

anyone know how to get this off with out damage to my clear coat?

ps. there are no more specs, its more of a big smudgy black area

Turtle wax bug and tar remover. Leave it on for 10seconds and wipe, repeat till gone. Works every time for my Evo (ww).

Goo Gone is fine, you'll need to wax again after though. It works well. You may be able to get it off with a clay bar, but it's a lot of elbow grease involved.

A new Microfiber rag should be enough, but I would just use a detailer and the microfiber to be on the safe side. GL

SEM Solve or just rub it off with your fingers or an eraser

I never mask with plasti dip anymore, I just clay bar the little specs away. Super easy, and safe as it gets! Just re-wax the paint after a clay bar, as always.
