You do not need this if you are only getting tires on the stock wheels. If you get new wheels and swap your sensors over..... you do not need this. This really only benefits people with 2 sets of wheels and tires either for snow or the track.

Two sets of wheels? Two? Man, I remember those days. Life was so simple then.

Close. Winter, summer, dry, rain, gravel. The wheels are still on the way from Spain. Braids.

I just asked my shop to get the the TPMS ID#'s when they swapped wheels on my car.

Do these look right?

I'll have to remember to get the numbers when I get new tires.

A local Evo owner says he just put on Conti all-season DSWs and his car is like a snow plow. I think I'll do that before getting another set of wheels and sensors.

Dealer read my TPMS Id's thru OBDII port

My local dealer read the TPMS ID's for $29.95. I called around to about 3 local dealers before I found one that would do it. They got the codes from an OBDII port scan and gave me a printout. I explained that I wanted a second set of wheels for winter tires and that the ATEQ quickset device they knew about won't work on a 2011 Evo.

I just ordered the sens.it sensors and programmer from Myers Tire Supply but haven't got them yet. I'll post again when the second set of wheels are on the car.

If anyone who rallycrosses is crazy enough to keep the TPMS - maybe because you often stay in the car between runs and know that a broken bead-seal can ruin your day - then you'll be happy to know that the SensIt senders will fit a 15" Braid wheel. The wheel guy was both amused and annoyed by the installation, but they fit.

Thanks, again, NGS.
