I could get the used 03 for $22,000 with 19,000 miles in super shape (never abused, i drove it for 10 minutes) does need tires though, one small dent in the decklid from a shopping cart, its red....i like the grey better i like the $22,000 better than the $38,000

Hey speaking of insurance costs for Evos...for my next car I was considering a used Evo so there's room for modding/no worries about the warranty (if I get one that has passed it's warranty specifications) but someone recently told me that cars with turbo cost a lot more to insure than regular n/a cars. Is there really a huge difference in terms of the insurance that you have to pay? Congrats evolution9, I like your avatar "just kickin it w/some homies from the west siiiide" Post up pics so we can see please

i would do the m3 after seeing its speed first hand. i was in a 04 350z doing 150 with a m3 and it just down shifted and had to do about 165, left me cold in the dust. (the speed limiter is generous on M3s.) The m3 is Blazing fast and the warranty is great. free oil changes, free brakes and they take a lot better care of you than Mitsu would.

m3 is too krazy ive sat in one being pushed it feels strong and when you sit inside it feels like your somewhere else and not on this planet becuase of the quality and the sound deadening. But the evo is also an awesome car, if i had the money i would choose the m3 doh becuase its a car that will probably last you longer and its sporty/ luxurious, u get the best of both worlds. I love the evo but i would rather have an m3

I love my EVO but the M3 is a finer car. MY OPINION
M3 is a great car, but you need to check out some of the BMW forums if you think the warranty favors BMW. There were many blown M3 engines that BMW refused to replace under warranty and that was just the begining. My friends 03 smg needs synchros and BMW does not want to cover them.

M3 is finer in some ways for sure (another $25,000 should buy that). My biggest complaint about the EVO is the around town ride. It is not bad on the highway, but a little bouncy around town. On the other hand, the reviews I've read seam to indicate the MR solves this problem.

You might should also look at the STi. It is a nice compromise between the two. I still wouldn't trade my EVO for one though, but that is my taste.
