I'm uh, inclined to ditto this. WTF!? The Neon 4A20 (if I remember my engine codes just right) is really not the best thing to swap...why on earth? The thing LOVES to blow head gaskets, especially under F/I. Side note: a majority of this thread is utter GARBAGE with nothing but BS back and forth between folks. Don't be surprised if chunks of this mess disappear.

I'm in complete agreement. How did this go from 4G63 to a Neon? Not even the same class, here...

A 4G64 would be more worthwhile...but who am I to be the judge...

Again, if you can pull that off, more power to you. There are turbo kits out there for the 4A20 engine as well, so you might want to consider that

(NOTE: I did not read this whole thread and I might have missed somethings here or there)

OK dude From the beginning I said I was putting a 4g63 non turbo eclipse motor, which is SAY IT WITH ME! A GS Eclipse motor true or false? But from what I find just by putting two and two together it was a chrysler motor and you are so right, it does blow head gaskets, rings, pistons and possible a cracked sleeve or two. But it is still considered a neon motor. All pics downloaded like I said B4 E-mail for pics so I can send it Directly to you or anybody who wants to see them. I'll even throw in pics of how bad the 4g94 2.0 Lancer tranny are worth crap, someone guaranteed me that the tranny was strong yea the whole diff exploded out the case of the tranny, pretty strong huh Pics Available E-mail me Once Again at this e-mail, Xtazdogg32x@aol.com

well it probably exploded because you didn't have it mounted with the new motor correctly/perfectly. and what would be the point of putting that crappy motor in your car? if your going to do all of that work you should have just put a 4G63T in it.

If you kept with the 4G94 you wouldn't have tranny problems.

Also how did you get the 4G94 tranny on a 4G63?

Are you planning on converting to AWD? Might need a nice chunk of money if you do plan to try this swap.

Yeah... and I'm not positive on the GS having a non-turbo 4G63. I didn't know such a thing existed.

Sorry man... not tryin to show my ***. I just new that the 98 Spyder had a 4G64, and I thought that was the same for the GS. My bad. That's why I said it uncertainly, and not with guns blazing.

"Hey does anyone know if it is yet possible to swapp a 4g63 Eclipse or maybe an Evo motor into the OZ rally US edition Lancer. From what I compared the engine bays are the same in the OZ rally and the EVO 7. But if anyone can help a hard mitsubishi fan in this god forsaken Honda world that would be great. "

Way back when, that is how this thread started. Now dude is a know at all with a slight attitude problem. Im just going to leave you with that to think about. My point is your not going to get anywhere with this guy, cuz he "knows better." So screw it, let him have his say, right or wrong. Just look at what he says and think about it.

Case in point, the Lancer has a weak tranny. Talk to Kontradictions or Liquid Lancer on this issue, hell talk to Rob. These guys are putting out more than 250 hp to the wheels, and they havent had a single problem, accept for a worn out clutch. So they can run over 7 psi of boost and not affect the tranny, yet boy wonder up there swapped an engine and the diff exploded out of the case of the tranny? I rest my case. Drive safely children.

well dude you can't swap a 4g94 tranny on a GS Eclipse tranny, if you paid attention *sorry i didn't explain it myself clearly* "but I also have pix of my car coming back home from the dyno, and man the are not pretty. If anyone can break a tranny like this with a stock clutch please hit me back and let me know exactly what the **** i did wrong. The only time I have seen a tranny explode like this was at the track when the Nu Image Type R racing integra whole tranny exploded in the wet box. " My motor has returned to daddy and the tranny didn't hold. I'm shocked that it didn't hold very shocked, but like I said all the long awaited photos are available, mew and mister liquid are putting out around the same Hp, (dyno results are available) and my trans couldn't hold. so there is something wrong which is totally gay.

Hey Z how far do you have your SAFC leaned out to run between 5 to 12lbs of boost. Just wondering if I were to run 1 Bar of boost (which for you autometer users is 14lbs of boost) how much I can run safely before dyno time.

ok....well..what the hell are you talking about then.what tranny did you blow?????

you said "I'll even throw in pics of how bad the 4g94 2.0 Lancer tranny are worth crap, someone guaranteed me that the tranny was strong yea the whole diff exploded out the case of the tranny, pretty strong huh"

and you said "well dude you can't swap a 4g94 tranny on a GS Eclipse tranny"

so if you can't swap...then what tranny blew up on you. just post the pics of your car already...its not that hard. you really have to clairify what you have.

also the AFC settings really depend on that other fuel mods you have. my fuel setting will probably be totally different then yours.

300cc injectors, about 55-60 psi of fuel, and +28% to +34% on the AFC at 60%+ throttle gives me 12.5 - 13.0 a/f ratio.

I don't kno what you mean by how far my AFC is "leaned" out..
