no need to bash huh? looks like you are doing all the bashing. yeah, and since i spent a total of what, $200 or so on my car? i guess i could have bought an intake, then i could go REAL fast!! fact is, right now i don't have the funds to spend making my car a tiny bit faster. i bought the little things to make me happy while i drive my car to and from work so i can pay insurance, buy groceries, and support myself. but that doesn't mean i don't know anything about cars. because you have money and buy parts for your car makes you a genius? you are the one that comes on here, bashing everyone telling them they don't know anything cause you managed to fit a 4g63 in your engine bay. you are the one that keeps bashing people saying that they don't know anything cause they only have exhaust. let me tell you something. money doesn't buy knowledge, and it certainly doesn't buy respect. yeah i don't doubt your mirage is fast. big deal. i know civics that run the 1/4 in 10 secs. there's a thing called being humble. in my experience, the rule of thumb is: the louder they talk, the slower they go. it's the real quiet ones you gotta worry about.

trust me, if i had nothing else to spend my money on then my car, i'd have a turbo. well actually i'd probably have a faster car. but alas i have to actually eat food to survive, who would have thought, so i am stuck buying chicken cutlets and green beans instead of nitrous and spare parts when my car blows up.

Why would you send off a 4G94 to get all this expensive work done on it (porting and polishing = mucho dinero), but insist that you can/have put a 4G63 in it? It doesn't make sense, and frankly, makes the whole arguement stink of contrivance.

well the answer to your question is it was just to see if this whole swap thing would work but at the sametime work on the 4g94 so I can see what total potential and abuse this motor can handle. And also when I go to the track and run with the little motor people like CUP talk **** break out the big motor and break em off something. but hopefully the SOHC motor can provide some descent times I'll be happy.

Q: Does anyone knows how much and where I can find a MIVEC motor from.

MIVEC motors won't run all that good on US gas i believe...someone correct me of i'm wrong....so you don't want those

well what about just the transmission from the MIVEC motor I heard it would be a really kewl motor to have and it puts out alot of Hp if done right. but thats gay if it doesn't run good on US gas. does it not run at all or it just runs ****ty?

yeah in asia they use 98-100 octaine which the MIVEC GDI engine loves. its something with sulfur buildup and other stuff in US gas that would decrease the life of the motor. search for mivec GDI or something like that cuz the GDI engines arn't for the US.

The problem isn't MIVEC. MIVEC is a variable valve timing system, and can work on US gas. GDI, however is Gasoline Direct Injection, and has alot to do with combustion chamber stuff. They don't necessarily exist in the same engines all the time.

Hey people very bad news I have all the pics u guys have been waiting for the neon motor swap inside my Lancer (I mean GS Eclipse motor which is a chrysler motor) but I also have pix of my car coming back home from the dyno, and man the are not pretty. If anyone can break a tranny like this with a stock clutch please hit me back and let me know exactly what the **** i did wrong. The only time I have seen a tranny explode like this was at the track when the Nu Image Type R racing integra whole tranny exploded in the wet box.
