Hey I'm new to this forum and I couldn't find where to look for the year changes for the EVO XIII. Like any and all small things. I know the 03's had HID's standard and 05's have acd now i think... But yeah can anyone direct me where to find this information or just post it.

I am assuming you mean the VIII but im looking for the same info myself. Looking at buying onen within the next couple weeks and I don't understand the difference between all the Evo Models.

 

EVO VIII RS is stripped down...weekend racer kinda car

EVO VIII is the "Evo" sunroof is an option but not on any other model

EVO VIII MR is the top end witha six speed and different wheels and one specific color addition

 

05's:

Have:
-ACD
-bump up of 6hp and 9lb-tq
-the MR edition
-Vortec Gens (optional)
-H.I.D. in the SSL package

Don't have:
-H.I.D. standards (stupid mitsu....)



That's all i can think of. Anyone else?

 

The 03's have H.I.D. headlights standard in all Evo 8 models?

yes, all 03 have HID. 04 and up is an option.

 

what new colors came for the newer models? I dont see electric blue much is it only for the newer evo's? Yeah i meant the VIII lol.

in 03 there was only the GSR. The wing came as a $500 option which was waived 04 and on. I don't remember bout sunroofs at all in 03. And uhm...thanks for quoting me? O.O I've done worksited so many times in school but I never thot I'D every be cited. lol ^.^ I'm honored. And add on what AznR.R. and Chase said.

EDIT!!:And I just read Mitsu's MR page! I typoed the engine bump-ups. It's 5hp and 13lb-ft tq. Sorry... How come no one caught that?? o.O

To AznR.R.~I think in 04 they took off the spray cus it was just weight. Or so i remember. @.@ Why couldn't i remember my history stuff this well....

the 04 and up models came with a cabin air filter.

the 04 rs and all 05 models have a front helical gear limited-slip differential.

the mr and rs share the aluminum roof.

the mr has the vortex generators.

rs model has no stereo, no power windows, and no rear wiper.

all 05 models have the noted up'd hp and tq. with boost increased from 19.5 to 20.3 at 3.5k rpm.

the 05 mr has the bilstein suspensions.

all 05 models have the acd.

all 03 and 05 mr models have HID as standards.

... this is all i can really think of for now.

by the way, what exactly is a 10.5 hotside? i've searched, a few times, and found nothing informative at all... please elaborate a little for me.
