Choosing between SRT-4 and EVO
hmm, i have a friend with a mopar stage 1 srt and a friend with an 03 evo, and in my opinion the evo pulls much harder in all situations. i'm not really biased becuase i don't own an evo, but the evo feels much more intact with the road and the acceleration feels much sicker. even with the lsd the srt doesn't hook up amazingly. plus that car (srt) feels unstable at freeway speeds, at least to me.
if you can afford the price difference.....get the EVO...you won't regret it....
and if you have the money and decide to get the SRT...you'll kick yourself later....i promise

I liked the black color they had.
BTW It wasnt too hard a decision, I just was suprised at the SRT-4... Just wanted to give it some credit where it was due. I also liked it more than the STi... i don't much like the STi at all.
I'll arrange a meeting with the guy and if all goes well, Ill post some pics! If I cant get the EVO i still might get the SRT-4... but I am hoping for the EVO now that ive heard some opinion..
Thanks for all the help!

I got oblierated by 7 car lengths from an srt4 stage 3..very fast from a roll and from 80mph and up. I went to test drive one after that.. besides the fact that the car can beat the evo from a roll for not to much money everything else about the evo is far superior.. I felt i was in a boat driving the srt4 compared to the evo.. it also had no confidence driving the car and they are weak in stock form..
I would say if you never plan on doing any club days on a track with turns, go with the SRT-4 & save some money. The upkeep on an Evo as a daily driver is expensive as hell. You can make an SRT-4 handle decently well, and if AWD is not a must go for it. I personally would rather have a stock Evo than an SRT-4 with ~$8K in mods, but its your money do with it what you wish. If you want to make a straight-line monster the SRT-4 is the ticket. If you want an all-around performer, the Evo is the only way to fly.
