Choosing between SRT-4 and EVO
At auto cross i beat a dude who had slicks on his '05 SRT and he has been racing for YEARS, he is a Fu<kin ***** who hates on Evo's and STi's, not sure why. Not saying SRT owners suck, one of my good friends owns one, there is always going to be those people in EVERY CAR even Evos who "PURGE" the bov when they see you.

Yeah another glaring mistake is that the Neon looks better.... you CANT be serious... if you are, you should get the Neon. The EVO is an all-around car and with very little money can be a monster. I put $2600 into go fast goodies for my car and I made 346whp/344 tq. That was buying everything retail. Buy a used EVO and used parts and you can do it 10x cheaper. Im not knocking the SRT4, it is what it is, and its a fast car thats easy to mod for CHEAP - and thats awesome - but dont compare it to an EVO.
Remember - the SRT4s competition is the Cobalt.

Exactly. They aren't even in the same price range, totally different drivetain. They only things they share in common are 4 doors, crap econobox interiors, and turbo 4's.
Both cars are great for their price, but are not direct competition.

Why is it false to think it was mostly due to the car? It was a complete dog on this course that required a lot of tight turning and hard acceleration out of tight turns. He couldn't make any of the turns properly, nor did he have any traction when accelerating out of the turns. I'm sure driver had something to do with it, but this was a pitiful showing. And again, you ignore the fact that out of 80-85 cars in every event, we don't get ANY SRT-4s who even try to compete, even though they're all over the damn road messing with me in an illegal setting.
Yes, SRTs "purge" their BOVs at me...is that hard to understand? "Purge" is the proper term to use...it doesn't just refer to N2O. Everytime the BOV lets air out, that's a "purge," and they do it to me QUITE OFTEN. I don't do it to them, because my BOV makes NO NOISE. I prefer to go fast, not sound fast...
I test drove an SRT-4 with a friend whjo was interested in the car. First off I think they are cheap ugly looking cars. Just a neon with a body kit and beefed up engine. After owning 2 evo's. I thought the SRT-4 felt slow compared to my stock Evo in a straight line. Of course the handeling isnt even close but the SRT-4 didnt even pull hard to me. My Evo stock pushed me back in the seat way harder then the SRT-4 did. There must have been something wrong with the Evo you Drove.

See the sad thing is the SRT's 20k interior is as good as your EVO's 30k interior. That comment is completely outrageous.
Especially when you compare straight line acceleration.
The EVO only has a few advantages to the SRT-4. A SLIGHT braking advantage, and obviously a massive handling advantage, and a small acceration advantage.
Looks are completely subjective.

Not hard to call a BS to this. The SRT-4 definitely plants you way back in your seat stock. The only reason the EVO would feel stronger is due to AWD launch.
why is there seven page of this ****. i cant believe this. if anyone says something about the SRT-4 being better, faster, looking better or anything, then they are the most stupid ****ing person i have meet. the SRT-4 is only better if your poor and can't afford an EVO, (and even then i would get a WRX, **** American Cars, they suck)
