There are seven pages because of people like you. Obviously you don't understand the concept of opinions. There are plenty of people that prefer the look of the SRT-4 to the EVO. Most prefer the EVO to the SRT though. From a roll it is not hard to figure out that the SRT is just as fast.

 

More like comparing a Ferrari 360 Modena to a Corvette C5 Z06. The Ferrari, like the Evo, is refined and a complete package. The Vette can put up nearly the same numbers but it's not going to feel as good doing it. The numbers don't give a complete picture. Most people aren't good enough drivers to know the difference or actually have a need for the refinement though.

SRT = Poor man's Evo. Enough said. Not knocking on the Neon.

Powerwise, it's up there. In terms of quality, I would like to believe Mitsubishi has a major advantage on that.

If you want to go fast without spending the $$, SRT is your best bet.

 

I wouldn't say the EVO's "quality" (in terms of interior) is much greater than the SRT-4's. As far as plastics, and seats go. The EVO's interior design is better IMO. Also i'd say the SRT is more reliable though.

ive never seen an american car with more then 200,000 miles and i have seen many honda's,nissian's, subaru's, and mitsubishi's (and many other Asian & European Cars). Also if anyone here doesn't like their Evo and likes the SRT-4, you can send your Evo to me, i wouldn't mind another. (ill even pay shipping)

 

To be honest, if someone could afford an evo, why on earth would they consider the SRT-4? the SRT-4 was my back up plan if something went seriously wrong with my EVO/STI plan. Like the guy above said, american cars just aren't made as good as Japanese.

actually subaru was voted as the most reliable car according to consumer reports. oh and by the way my friend just had to get rid of his neon because it broke about once a week after 50,000 miles.

 

Seriously Just get the fing srt4 and drop this thread. If you even consider getting an srt4 while you have money for the evo, you deserve the srt4 and not the evo. Plz everyone just stop posting in this thread.

 

i test drove both the same day and went home with the evo .it all depends on what you want to spend.good luck.
