By your skills in writing I would say that you are a Senior in high school. If I were you I might not be so willing to jump 40k in debt. If your parents are going to cover the whole thing then that might be a different story, but they also might not want to go that far in the hole. I would look around for a used MR and buy an 8 if they did not want to spend that much money. Also with that being said a new mustang does not cost as much as the evo mr, so you might want to check and see if they will take the extra 15k you are going to spend. The evo 8 mr is going to be very hard to find new at a dealership so you would probably have to stick to a used one. One the other hand you would be able to find the 9 MR rather easy, but you will pay for it. If I were you I would find a nice used 8 MR and start out with that one. Don't buy it from someone that has beat the hell out of it though. Good Luck

Jared

ok the shelby GT 500 is a muscle car puttin out 450 hp and torque. Price being said that an evo mr is around 35k-40k. That car ur gonna buy is definetely around 40k(rumors say high 30's) but i believe ( it might be around 45k).

I dont kno man, is the 3000gt stick? If u have some experience with stick that its prolly ok to get an evo and hopefully u kno wat to do in terms of not abusing it. The GT 500 probably god damn good but it all comes down to price, wat u want in a car in terms of driveability, handling. Cause its tru that the shelby will smoke the evo except maybe on a track.

But if the price tag is way higher than an evo. With that money u can mod ur evo and smoke the crap out of that shelby so it goes both ways.

Just watever u do, treat the new car nice

I really hope his driving skills are better than his writing skills, or else we may as well just reserve a spot on the "part out" section of the for sale forum now!

Whats wrong with my writing skills this is a fourm im not going to put periods commas and all that ****. But yea my 3000GT is a stick. I had a old piece of crap grand am to start off and it was a stick. Then i got the 3000 and it is a stick so i do have the experience with a stick. I might not have the track experince, but like a little street race and daily driving i do. Well my parents are paying for half of the car that i buy. Ive saved up about 15 thousand and hope to get at least 2 or 3 grand out of my car, which takes my up to almost 20k which is my half. I live in colorado and with the snow i think it would be better to have a awd car. I am graduating early, January 20th so i guess my writing skills must be all right. But when is the evo X supposed to have a relase date anyone know. They seem to always realse a little earlier and how much more hp will it have then the evo 9 mr. But ive seen some pics in other posts of the evo x and it looks ugly but it is like a drawing that someone did, so i doubt that it would look exactly like that.

ok, this is going to end badly. you are a kid and your parents are going to buy you a brand new MR or an shelby mustang and your experince comes from "little street race". alright than, i guess i will be able to pick up a totaled MR after all...

and also, even though it is a forum, you should put " periods commas and all that ****" because people are trying to understand what you are saying. right now your posts seems like they were written by a drunken monkey which is not really easy to read.

btw, good luck with your new car
