The car already has a 2.3 stroker kit

the engine was installed last week & it's currently being tested on the road & dyno (new 272 cams & competition con. rods).

I'll post photos as soon as it's finished.

Car is now 95% complete; fine tuning the handling characteristics and some body work finishing remains. I must say it took quite a bit of effort & time to reach this stage, but for a motorhead like myself, it was well worth it.

Although most of the work was done by others, you have to be on top of it because everything counts. It was an amazing learning experience for me. My 2 cents goes as follows:

- Have a plan before you start and stick to it; it's much cheaper
- Plan ahead; expenses don't stop when your project car is complete
- Modifying takes three times longer than planned (in general)
- Most convincing advice is not always the best advice
- Mix theory with experience and don't rely on just one
- Avoid mixing workshops for the same work. You wouldn't know who to blame
- Don't do too many mods at once. Try to understand what each mod is doing to your car.
- A proper mixture is better than the best of everything
- A better part is not better if it cannot be properly set up and maintained locally
- Top known mechanics have high goals, and it's not to give you the best bang for your buck.
- Second time around will be much cheaper.
