Can anyone help me understand the lingo everyone is using here? what is a cat-back? what does it do? how does it enhance the car? also what are turbo timers, engine idlers? etc... any other mods you guys might like to explain to me I would really appreciate it.

Catback = exhaust that runs from the 2nd catalytic convertor all the way back to the muffler tip. It enhances performance by allowing better flowing exhaust gasses.

Turbo timer = allows sufficient time for the turbo to cool down, even in the event that you just turn off your car. Keeps you from damaging the turbo that way.
