First off Im completely new to the import world Im going from ls1 5.7 to a 2.0. So I was curious as to what it would take to make an evo 8 run a 10...Im thinking about buying one.

 

you need all the normal mods, (flash, tbe, boost con, port intake, uicp, licp, f.pump, injectors, turbo), and bored or built block, and probably some stuff im missing too... in other words, alot o' work......... have fun!

Nope, but you need a lot of boost.

 

it takes just about the same depth of modding a GTO into the 10s as it would an evo

Buy it and slap in a turbo kit.. like ams G35R.. then work aorund it.. fuel system, intercooler, Clutch, lotsz a tunning.. and some light weight wheels with nice tires.. and you set.. you can do it on a stock block.. many many evos out there 500+ on stock block.. it just comes down who tunes it.. <--go for it..

I come from a 350Z and i dnt regrest going to a lil 2.0 4 bngr..

 

Stages are good also.. but if you got money skip them because you end up droping alot of stuff from stages as you go along the power scale..

 

you'll need a bigger turbo and many supporting mods. many of the guys have it right.

Well if your a good driver this should do it:

Cams, headstuds, MBC, BOV, Intake, Intercooler, clutch, Alky/meth/racegas, Exhaust, injectors, GT30r/gt35r (both could do it), and a badass tune. If you dont give a F, put a 50-75 shot on there too.

Thats pretty much the min that it would take. Im sure i left something out.

Come on now. That's like saying try doing it in an evo without boost or an upgraded turbo. Unless you're Curt Brown, it's not going to happen.

 

Yeah, I guess you're right. It is a form a FI in itself anyway. Meh.
