Compression test?

What should the compression be on the EVO. Whats a good number and how many times should you crank it over.

about 35#'s, and you need to crank it for about 10 minutes per cylinder. Search my friend, all you questions will be answered.

Should be around 180 plus 10 or minus 10

Adding oil to the cylinder with allow it to sit around the rings and raise the compresion. You only need to do that if the compresion is low in the cylinders and you are trying to figure out where the compresion leak is coming from....ie rings, valves

I cranked it over 2 times and #1 129 #2 130 #3 135 #4 128 but the motor was cold if that matters at all.

you'll need to crank it a bit more than that. Not 10 minutes, but watch the gauge while cranking.... if it's still going up, keep cranking. Maybe 8-10 revolutions.

Throttle body opening maximizes cylinder filling.

This is how you do it. Get the engine up to temp. Remove all of the spark plugs( because it's easier on your starter), connect the tester to the cylinder head, put the throttle to the floor, and crank until the gauge stops going up(usually about 5-7 seconds). It's probably a good time to check the gap on your plugs too since they're out.
