I have done many searches and have come up with tons of answers and a ton of bashing. I have an 05 EVO RS with no mods other than TEIN springs and a APEXI turbo timer.

Last week I spent every evening installing a turbo kit on my buddies 06 STI. He put on a APS SR55 turbo, injectors, fuel pump, TXS Utec, HKS Exhaust, Header w/uppipe, Helix Downpipe . and spent close to 5k for everything. He came back from AXIS racing yesteday and only got 349 awhp. I want to get the best bang for the buck and show him that you don't have to spend that kind of money on an EVO to get that kind of power.

I have read that the stock air box can hold 400hp so I don't think I will change it. I think I will get the following mods , "I do want to be able to go back to stock if needed to take it to the dealer"

I would hold off on the BOV I don't like them personally, but the rest look good.

 

i believe in mustang dyno you wont be able to get to those number with TBE, BOV, ECUFlash, MBC. probably you will get it close in dynojet

 

You can eliminate the guesswork and trial and error purchases by getting the Buschur/Warrtalon Package and scare your Subbie buddy at the track while keeping money spent to a minimum.

Look for a staged packages and they give you a ballpark range on hp numbers. But definatly all the bolt ons and cams

On my 04 STi I had the APS SR55, DR725fmic, 3"tbe, tumbler deletes, and ALL the supporting mods and was only making 345 awhp (91 ocatne) on a dyno dynamics. The STi is a nice car but it takes a lot of cash to extract the hp out of it.
