i've search but only found one... please show me more.. I am interested in seeing others... I am just stating the facts people use 5 speeds more than 6 speeds. why doesn't shep or tre recommend 6 speed over the 5 speed. Shep and tre offer the same services for both 5-6 speed.. they jus recommend going with the 5 speed over the 6 speed. why is warrtalon choosing to go 5 speed in his MR.. tranny builders and pro's use 5 speed.. just plain statistics...

first of all its not 6 g over, its 3 and a half. plus having the MR loro Speaks for itself. five speads come on the cheap model(lets not forget this). If this makes sense for mitsubishi i this there is a reason for this. What runs on the track for how fast its not what i am searching for. there are five speed sivics which do 10 sec on the track but its a sivic... so my MR is worth it and i am happy with paying a little over the regular model.

This is a thread - 6 Speed Tranny a weak link? - where you have a number of posts. In the very same thread, Warrtalon discusses his reasons for switching to a 5-speed:
"It's only a weak link if you plan to road race quite a bit and do so on the edge. It's no problem for drag racing, autocossing, or daily driving. In fact, it's quite nice and strong for anything in gears 1-3. It's 4-6 that are very weak. Both TRE and Shep consider the 6spd to be garbage, and that is why I am converting to a 5spd built by Shep. My 4th gear went out while road racing, but it never went out during my 250 drag runs and 100 autocross runs."
I find it curious that you'd ask the questions you did, when you're keenly aware of the 6-speed's limitations, none of which are relevant to anything except road racing. It also questions your claim regarding searching, which at this point seems like a pure fabrication.
This is one of YOUR posts from the same thread:
"dang more and more MR owners are regretting buying MR's because people keep on scaring them about 6 speed 4th gear failures and other threads like this. it sucks but i guess people need to do more research before they buy thier cars. some of these people even have selective reading.. They can see all what people post they only chose to see that 4 gear breaks. they fail to see that it breaks because of the heat on road racing. damn im tired i need some sleep!"
This leaves one of two choices to explain your actions. Either you're too dim to recall your own words, or you're disingenuously looking for an argument. Pick one.

If we're going to start arguing about transmission types, keep in mind that people will almost always argue in favor of what they've bought.
I paid for a 6 speed and have not had any problems, therefore 6 speed FTW! as the kids say lol
Those with 5 speeds won't typically say "aw shucks, you have something better and I want it!" they'll just stick up for what they have.
That's usually how things seem to go anyway.

FWIW, I bought 5-speeds in both of my Evos.
