Yes. The Evo has more leg room in the rear than an STi.

I do not know the actual deminsions but all of friends that have STI's and I have sat in compared them both and the evo does have more room to put your knees in the back seat. It might be because of how the recaro seat cuts back in.

If you don't track your MR, then the 6spd deficiencies should never be a problem. I loved my 6spd for the 2 years I used it for tons of racing while also daily driving.

PS. Mitsu did not make the 6spd - it was made by Aisin (and not made well, imo).

But it you thnk about it the car is same just added more interior stuff and made it nicer inside they are going to make one model with a bigger turbo and two others with a smaller turbo all these cars are made on a assembly line that just doest make sense.

I'm 6'2" with shoes, and with MY seat where I like it, there is no room in the rear. In fact, my infant son's baby seat almost doesn't fit, because the right/top of my driver's seat is right up against it, and there's almost no leg room. In race mode, there's a lot more room, because I straighten the seatback and move closer to the wheel, but for daily driving, the space is cramped.

Yeah, I really don't know what you said toward the end there ...

The additions to the MR are almost all functional:
Wheels - Lighter
Roof - Lighter
Gearbox - More time in the power band
Vortex Generator - More Downforce
Brake Coolers - slows brake fade
Headlights - Better vision
Suspension - Better cornering

and so on ...

People would argue that the IX w/ SSL package has the nicer interior of the trim packages. The interior additions in the MR are a drop in the bucket compared to the functional gains of the package.

It just seems like you haven't done much research at all ...

The MR doesn't come with brake coolers unless there's something on mine that I haven't noticed.
