There's always one in the crowd who tries to be diplomatic and sweet without knowing the history behind the situation. Let's take a look at previous threads by our man Yesevo:

if i eliminate turbo, the engine and ecu still works fine? (ouch)
2.3L w/ GT35R on brand new evo9....how much am i looking at? i want reliable set up~ (reliable??? this same guy has argued with me all day about how people shouldn't mod beyond 340whp, because their engine will blow up like his did)
evo 9 stock ecu can handle up to 500whp? (already been done many times before he posted this - obvious answer, but he doesn't ever seem to notice other things that happen on this forum)

Im saying that you shouldn't worry about the size of the OEM intake inlet. As long as it's not obstructed by anything, its going to get the air it needs. Consider the size of the stock turbo's inlet in comparrison. The air is FORCED through the compressor housing not entering anywhere near atmospheric pressure like NA cars.
hmm. that makes me think again~

i wanted to go with2.3l w/gt35r turbo. because it is blue printed engine.
strong internals will last longer than stock internals.
i wanted to be super safe with blue printed enigne and makes hell more power than what u can do with stock turbo and stock internal engine.

i heard that 2.3l blue print engine pushing 500whp will last longer than 350whp on stock bottom end engine ~~~
that is why i post a thread like this~~

get it>?

I'm going to troll your thread until you go turn your intake around to face the correct direction. And install the dam mounting screws too, they aren't there for nothing.

LOL omg
