Car Wash
Stupid Noob question... sometimes I'm lazy and don't have time to give my car a good washing. But obviously I like it to shine and the wash helps get rid of the brake dust. Has anyone taken the car through a car wash? Is it bad for the car, with the wing on the back and all? I don't want to regret doing it so I figured I ask the people who know first. THANKS!
theres Touchless washes popping up all over here,
or I spend 5 bucks at the do it yourself, never touch the scrubby thing,
if the crap doesn't come all the way off with wash mode, don't worry, the wax mode, gets it. then spot free rinse. California Sqeegie & 2 paper towels.(walmart)
i hope the Mitchubishi doesn't see this (shineaholic)
***watch out for super deluxe washes .. this one was touch free, but the most expensive version was gonna Touch my evo!

i hand wash mine , as local washes around here , all have the rail that pulls your car along , with our low profile tires i worry aboutthe wheels scraping on rails, i could be wrong but i hand wash my evo
We have one of those touchless ones by my house that I run the Prius through and that thing gets dirty like a truck. It does a really good job and it is really touchless so I don't see how it could harm the evo at all. Try and find one of those and you should be okay. My evo isn't a daily driver so it never gets dirty really but if it was a would run it through there or use the do it yourself spray ones and like was said stay away from the foaming brush.
