Whats up guys my names Tim, i just bought a GG IX. In the process of looking i didn't see one 07 evo, Are they just waiting for the X to come out? Awesome forum by the way i race a foxbody mustang so this is all new to me.

The 07 evo only came out in Australia and somewhere else. But they new 07 evo's didnt come with side airbags or something like that, which is a new rule for US cars. Cant really remember why..but i think thats why

no evos have side airbags. Atleats usdm evos do not. Dont know what you mean by full safety stuff. There sold so they have to pass safety standards.

 

That is exactly why. All 2007 vehicles sold in the US must have side airbags, the EVOs do not so therefore they were not brought over.

Welcome I have had a few fox bodys I have one Sitting in my Michigan Garage still. 83 GLX convertable waiting to have a 302 (306) roller rocker that I put together. I have so much crap I bought for that sitting in boxs waiting for the army to let me go to put together

 

Yea iv'e heard about some fast mustangs in Michigan , ive got a 87 notch with a dss 331 bottle fed. My best with no traction was a 10.70.

 

nice. the guy that did my machine work made several 8 second mustangs He did 2 or 3 for Racin Jason Mustangs. he had a 7 second camero for a while. Lots of fast cars out of Detroit and Flint
