You will be happy with either one... i have the gsr because of the higher potential for power, at least in the short run. It sounds like for what you want though, the mr would be just fine.

Once / If the clutch packs come out for the MR, the MR will be great.

Yeah I can totally live with a mid-12 and the SST, and I'd rather have the SST for my very very often daily commute compared to my very very occasional track use.

Get the gsr man. A 300 whp dd will satisfy you for about a week lol. It's a sickness that Evo owners seem to have

but the fastest ive seen in a gsr with a tune is 12.2 .

but regardless of drag numbers - with just a tune these cars are quiet fast.

would you show me the link with the only tuned GSR runs under 12 sec in 1/4 mile?

If you at all care about drag racing, get the GSR. The only way the MR will stay with it is if you use the 'secret' 5000 rpm launch mode, and that appears to be very hard on the tranny/clutch system. You'd be looking at very short tranny life with regular drag use. And replacements are ungodly expensive.

I have a 190whp DD now, which is a-ok.
And another 350whp toy, which is also a-ok.
