I m new! 2002 Lancer OZ

yo, I just picked up a Lancer OZ for $2,900 and it only had 105,000 miles on it...

so..I am wondering were should I start modding?, So far I have been looking at doing an Evo body conversion from Accolade or w/e since they looks sick

any tips for a new lancer Owner?

Buy an evo..... lol jk. I mean I'd lightly mod it if I were you and try to go for power if the moneys descent.... whatever you do don't rice it out plz. Actually to tell you the truth, before you do anything I would do maintenance on it if its 100k+ prob will need a new belt.

Welcome to the forums!

Let me be the first to tell you that if you're going for power... you'll be sadly disappointed
unless you go turbo. And that's not cheap...

And there are lots of things you can do to make your car look awesome without going with
the all out evo body kit. Man there's a whole world of options out there, you just gotta know
where to look

Here's a few links
RoadRaceMotorsports
Headlights and Taillights
Ebay Motors
Accolade Body Kits

Thanks for the links!

I have no intention of Engine rebuilding unless I get a better camshaft and valve train garbage...I already did with my Integra(still for sale) and I got a assload of power (170 -> 223 on dyno) I realize the mitsu is not gonna be fast...I will probly buy a turbo from Accolade since they seem like the best site so far for the 02 Lancer...but lets see what happens!

and thanks for the welcome!

btw SOHC Mivec swap worth it?

the only site you need to know for power. thier stuff may be a little higher priced but its worth the proven technology, and their knowledge base is excellent

RPW is great also, if you are looking more into power. They know their stuff and have serious parts for the lancer

Sold the integra today for $4,500 and I paid my lancer off today (got it for $2,900) so I decided to drop bout $1,000 on mods
