my friend wrecked it and i immediately asked him what he wanted for it. i got it CHEAP and it's only gonna take about a 1k - 1.5k to fix.

 

I was shopping for an STI for a couple months and I couldn't find one so I decided to widen my search for EVO'S which I have no regrets for doing so!!! I found a IX that was traded in and wasn't even cleaned by the shop yet..... got it cheaper than what VIII were going for.......Thanks for BUICK dealerships!!

 

loved how the new 2008 lancers looked and bought that at first. 2 years later after a bunch of mods and getting into the car scene, I was ready to step up into an Evo and now I love my baby

 

That's crazy, I have the same exact story. I had it for a 2 year lease, but got out early to get into mine.

 

got it at the Auction, for a good deal, going to fix it up.

 

Im 18, Found my Evo on craigslist for like 19somethin got him down to 17 met him to look at it and he followed us back to my house and parked it there then brought him back to mass haha. Got a loan the next day went and met the guy again to sign papers and get the keys. Now i get to bust my *** for 5 years to pay for it but its all worth it

 

Did you trade in the rsx for that price?

 

IX: Drove to Ann Arbor, MI with Scheides (plus our women) and bought it from a girl with 10k miles on it.

I drove up to my friendly neighborhood Mitsubishi dealer, sat down with a sales gal, ordered a (IX) GG SE and took delivery about a week later. Overall, it was an extremely pleasant experience.

autotrader found one, i flew out to michigan and drove back 10 hrs with a buddy of mine ...

 

I was looking for a work car for some reason, Kind Like the EVO I already own a 93 Mustang with PRO Charger. been looking for almost 3 months, about 3 weeks ago i found this 05 silver EVO VIII 26,500 mile for 20k... bought it, since then added Exhaust manifold, Test Pipe, Turn down Pipe 255 lb fuel pump, Grimspeed 3 port electronic boost control & a complete street tune with wideband.

The car has Blow off Valve Greddy Type RS, Injen Intake system,HKS Titanium Exhaust installed when i bought it.... nice scary fast car.

I bought mine used off of this forum. I bought it in MI and had it shipped on a truck to FL. I was in Iraq at the time, but had my brother fly up there to ensure there really was a car and in the condition that was quoted. I was 29 at the time, but have been waiting to get back in the States before I bought. It's been great ever since.

 

I found mine on our local newspaper classifieds. Got it the next day.
