Hey all,
I'm Glenn, I love cars.

And I think I'm about ready for an EVO. Now... I've been deciding for awhile between a IX and X but have finally come to a decision. I want an 06 Evo 9 MR. Hopefully black, electric blue, or charcoal(sp) grey.
NOW the decision I'm stuck with is if I want to buy an MR already modded, or stock and mod it myself. I've included a poll with my intro and hopefully can get some feedback from the Evo community and perhaps consider ya'll advice and add that up to my final decision in the end.
Look forward to contributing to the community as well as learn from it

Well crap... I know its only been like 30 minutes or whatnot but I've added another possibility to my wish list... the R34, R33, or R32 Skyline (one already registered in the US, right or left hand drive, doesn't matter, same colors listed above for the MR). I know that's blasphemous in an Evo forum :P but the perks do sound interesting...

You will need to research more - any Skyline is not legal. The company that was bringing those in was not doing it correctly and as shut down for their actions. And those cars (legal or illegal for street use) are going to be fair fair more than an Evo.

Okay well I found a R34 Skyline GTT for sale US legal and UNDER $50k... they want $35k obo... so I'm making some inquiries about it (like what kind of engine it has, mileage, any mods and current specs) yeah there's pictures but I can't really tell what engine it is. Doesn't look like the RB26DETT but I doubt I'm goinna find one with a really good engine for under $50k US legal. *shrugs*
I shall keep researching more until I find one that I'm looking for exactly! Wish me luck...

fast4wheels is the site, and that's the skyline I was looking at. Did more research and more than likely its a NEO RB25DET engine, which ain't bad. single turbo 280hp. The site was referred to by a very trustworthy friend, so I believe they're legit. Still expensive as hell... heh.
@NYC4g63IX: yeah if i go with the evo 9 mr, I'll try to find one stock then. And I saw some as electric blue... maybe custom paintjobs then?
