Check in out bro, GET THE FREAKING CAR!!! Everybody has to live their own life, live yours.. Just be smart about it, no flame. Just make sure you are getting one for the right decision. Everybody here, in there own funny or serious way, is just giving you thier advice on your questions. If it was me, I would look at getting that check from parents and getting a used 8 or 9 and modding the f*&^out of it. Arent there like 50 million Evos in SoCal?? I would definately want to make mine an original, Dont have that problem here in Corn Land, there are probably 5 Evos in the whole state. Good Luck with your purchase.

well ive got to say i'm not interested in sti's - those sexually transmitted infections dont look too good to me lol. really though, some of you guys need to check the way you're treating newcomers - maybe this is why so many of you are jerks, you drive away the nice guys that want to drive evos. good luck to you, and i hope you all have a good time on these forums.

(of course, once they get in the seat next to you and you hit 60 in under 5 seconds, their opinions will change). And finally, are there any alternative cars you would suggest for me if the Evo doesn't work out? (accord coupe?) - any other comments you'd like to make? Just let me know, I'd like to make the best possible decision on this.
Lol, i am going to tell you right now. Don't do it! I'm 17 and still in high school and pretty much work to pay for my Evo. Don't get me wrong i wanted this car ever since i was 14, but it's way to much money. I pay for my car, gas, and insurance and sure enough it's like 700 a month to keep this car going. So if you don't have that kind of money then don't do it.

My insurance is a lot cheaper since it's under my dads name (980 every 6 months). Car payment is 310 a month and gas just kills you lol. Don't forget maintenance either!

Do the girls notice me? Yeah, hell yeah. If you don't get laid in this car then you have some personal issues that you need to get checked out. But coming from someone your age i recommend you just to get a civic for now. You will regret it after even though you might not now. Good Luck!

Oh just bought a new clutch, but i didn't go cheap that cost around 2100. lol
