So I'm relatively new to the evo. I'm considering an 08 Evo X, but I would like to know a few things first from you guys. First off, do you find insurance to be ridiculously high price wise? (Im a guy in high school) Second, do the girls you know like your evo, or do they find it to be not so attractive at first? (of course, once they get in the seat next to you and you hit 60 in under 5 seconds, their opinions will change). And finally, are there any alternative cars you would suggest for me if the evo doesn't work out? (accord coupe?) - any other comments you'd like to make? Just let me know, I'd like to make the best possible decision on this.

 

Get a civic....then go to college....graduate get evo.....you don't want a girl that just likes you for your ride.

 

yea hell no girls just after your ride are hoes anyway.. but in my experience girls dont even notice the car (or anycar)
yea just buy an affordable car with cheap insurance.. $4000 a year was my insurance in my 03 when I was in hs

96% of girls don't know anything about cars beyond the brand.
2% might know something, but they still won't care what you drive.
2% are just gross hoes that will date you because you look rich and will buy them stuff.

 

lol this thread is funny. if you get an evo x, your parents must love you very much. get a civic man. An evo is a decent sized investment.

 

in high school, i have a gs-t, and once i get through college or when in college i plan on getting an evo.. gotta love mitsu

hahahaha nice but im fine when it comes to girls, just wanted to make sure the evo didnt look bad to them or cause any trouble for me... im not going to sit in the parking lot next to my evo like "hey im rich lets go out some time" hahaha. ya a low rider would be funny. im thinking either the evo or the accord, can't decide which... and at my school the kids all have nice cars, half the lot is filled with new BMW's lol.

An Evo will turn more dudes heads than girls.
And you have no idea how expensive insuring a high performance car is for a young male.

 

lol if your asking if a car will pull girls from you, you are obviously lackin in the girl department, sorry but thats how it works. Girls dont notice the car, untill some girl with a tc who thinks shes bad@%$ gets burned, no one will likely know what your car is.

 

do yourself and everyone in the evo community a favor, and get the accord.
