Bought new studs and a OEM gasket for the install

Paid 250 for the Busher ported and coated Ex. Manifold (Evo-M)
100 for the new heat sheild (STM)
28 for OEM Gasket (STM)
28 for new OEM studs and nut kit (STM)

I can sell the stock main for 100.. So I think Im doing ok at this end

A week late but my 65mm TB gasket showd up. I need to take the TB off to swap manifolds anyways.

Also got these Mil. Spec Throttle body shaft seals but have no idea where they go?

Got my ported Buscher intake manifold back. I paid 60 for the core and it came with a AIT sensor bung so I bought a sensor for it. Now I can convert to speed density later on.

150 Sent to Buscher for porting
60 for stock core with a AIT bung (Evo-M)
traded a stock intercooler, my stock TB and 100 for the Mil.spec TB (Evo-M)
11 for a new 65mm gasket (Evo-M)
52 for new AEM AIT (STM)
22 for Shaft seals (STM)
36 for a Magnus intake heat barrier gasket (STM)
25 for Intake manifold bolt kit (STM)

Yikes this stuff is adding up. I will have a stock manifold to sell so I can get a few bucks back, Maybe 60-100?

Made this list of weight I have lost from stock:

Spare Tire, Jack, and Tool drops 37 lbs
Intake Bracket & EGR drops 5lbs
Brake dust shields drops 1.5 lbs
A/C compressor and condensor, 29.6lbs
A/C Fan drops 6.4 lbs
AC Bracket drops 4 lbs
Evap / Purge Stuff drops 9 lbs
Catalytic Converter drops 10.5 lbs
Front strut tower brace drops 8lbs
Sound deadening under carpets drops 11lbs ( if ALL of it is removed which I haven't done yet)
Front Bumper Support drops 13lbs
Rear Bumper Support drops 17lbs
Rear Seat belts drops 10lbs

AMS turbo back exhaust saves 20lbs over the stock
Stock EVO exhaust, 60 pounds.. ( I don't have AMS but I'm sure its close )

Stock under tie bars with bolts, 2.5lbs
BR battery kit, 17lbs - Stock is 37lbs
I/C Spray bottle full, 11.5lbs
BR intake, 4.1 less than stock (not installed yet)
BR Seat lower brackets, saves 2lbs
Stock EVO8 strut tower bar, 7.3lbs
Trunk skin, 4.4lbs
carbon fiber trunk, 11.9lbs
Stock trunk lid with factory wing 28.8lbs

So around 276.9lbs less then stock so far of the things I know about... I have found a few more little things that will be removed soon.

Those mil spec shaft seals go inside the throttle body around the two sides of the shaft that the plate screws on to. To access them you have to pull the throttle body, remove the throttle plate, the black end piece and spring and pull out the shaft, then you'll see them.

Went to get an inspection yesterday.. Shop called and said I need a new Right side outer CV boot and a right side inner tie rod.. He then went on and said the local parts stores didn’t have them and asked if I could locate them.

Got the boot fixed but I still need to install the inner tie rod.

Started getting everything around to work on the car. I'm swapping stock parts for ported stock parts.

-Ported intake mani
--new gasket
--new studs and nuts
--new fuel feed line
-Ported exhaust mani
--new gasket
--new suds and nuts
--new turbo bolts and washers
--new heat shield
-Also getting the valve cover coated
--new valve cover bolts
-Also have a one piece hydraulic clutch line!

Noticed I lost a nut somewhere..

Bought the new STM over flow can but I guess it doesn't work with power steering? I'll give Emery a call tomarrow..

Are theses lines for cooling the power steering fluid?

So how bad is this? When I was taking the coils off one of the pieces came out.. Can I buy just the one plug?

Got a few hrs in today..

Started getting everything around for a catch can setup.

Pulled the stock ports out, pretty neat that the one in the back is a check valve.

Even neater is the drain they added to the valve cover.. I think?

So once I get a catch can what do I do about this?

So whats this? Why does the FPR have a sensor?

Bought the 1/8NPT plug to plug the evap hole in the head..

I'm looking into installing a slim fan also. Anyone know how much the stock fan weights vs. a typical slim fan? I still haven't found the definitive wiring "how to" either...HELP Please!

About a 100 decisions to make when buying a slim fan - Amp draw, # of blades, Fan CFM, Pusher/puller, blade material? Any advise!

I want a lighter fan that takes up less room but works just as well if not better and doesn't draw more amps then stock. I'm also thinking a pusher rather then puller so I can mount it between the FMIC and radiator and clean up the bay!

Looking good. Give me a call on Monday and I can tell you how to wire the fan in. The stock fan weighs about 5 lbs and an aftermarket FAL comes in under two I think. The part number we would usually use is the 110 I think.

Thanks Emery - I just ordered the Slim-Fan you guys sell! I'll let you know if I cant figure out the install!

Picked this up for cheap.. cant believe how heavy duty this is. Must weigh 3lbs if not more.

19 parts total make this up. Not sure this will go on my car or not?

Another trick new part!

Still figuring out how I'm going to attack the P/S cooler lines.

Id like to remove the aluminum line here.

Removed stock over flow, looks cleaner already!
