should i purchase this evo..
might just be the pic but kinda looks like the front end has been painted./?... CARFAX? Look into this stuff, or you maybe just buying some ones old headache. Which would kinda also explain why a EVO is at a honda dealer. LOL
But I can't talk to much I impulse bought mine at a ford dealer, had to get the tranny rebuilt within the month. Luckily the warranty covered it. Other than that, not much else to complain about.
Either way you go, good luck in your decision.

Plus you have to ask yourself, why did the guy trade it in at a honda dealership vice trying to private sell it. He would of got a lot more money as a private sale than trading it in. Maybe he knew something was wrong with it and new he could pull it over a dealers eyes. You never completely know what your buying when you buy a car like this from a dealer who doesn't normally sell/deal in the car.
Good luck with the car. Thats a hell of an upgrade
Pass on it get a crashed one or reposessed one and fix it up. That's Im going to do. Unless you plan on selling it later on who cares make it your own project that way youll know every detail in in in that car. If you want to know more hit me up I got the hook-up.
Financing with a co-signer **** that its a recession you should own your own car. Dont fall into the trap of owing money and gettin tacked with extra interest fees and ****. Its a wash and you have to pay money on repairs and they may not even want to warrantee it and guess what more money out of your pocket.

That's true and as far as warrantee get your own. Nationwide has aftermarket coverage for 89 a month and covers the car front and back except the clutch You pay $100 everytime you go in for the work. You can get an evo now runnin for 10-11 k. That dealership wanted to charge you 13,+ after taxes your looking at about 15 to 16 k. And there is still no telling what condition is the car in even after you drive it for whats to come.
The warranty covers drivetrain as long as it's not modded and I would rather pay 100 bucks for a new transmission than 1000 for a transmission on a cheaper Evo with more mileage. I really doubt I'll find an Evo for less than this one and especially with less mileage, the last one I looked at had 100k miles and he wanted 13000. So 13,800 with ttl, 3 year warranty, new tires and new ac, sounds like a pretty decent deal to me.
