yea i actually heard that it wasn't just the prius, it was mosy hybrid cars with the replacment of the batteries and just about everything. Only thing that is a gain with those cars are the taxes that you get back for being safe for the enviornment.

I would like to see a prius here. live in Quebec city (canada) and we have pretty rough winter. I would be curious how they handle it.

 

maybe in Canada they come with like 5 block heaters for the batteries instead of the motor

 

They actually do quite well in severe winters. I am from the Minneapolis area and we get super cold temps here and tons of snow. As with any fwd car, tires are the key. A good set of snowtires will do wonders. However, it is the drivers I am concerned about. So many of them have a superior attitude when driving. And, it seems most of them whom I have encountered on the road, drive very aggressively. The one thing they will never experience is the rush you get from an Evo on a cold day with the turbo spoolinig up. You can't put a price on that. I am still smiling from a drive yesterday...

(as he sits underneath the car, i wasn't aware lancers had a driveshaft and rear diff but geez you're the smart guy who ALSO doesn't believe in removing the rear slip pins to align a car...oh what? an eccentric stripped??? maybe its because YOU DIDNT REMOVE THE SLIP PINS SO IT COULDNT TURN AND THEN IT STRIPPED you f*ing retards)

note that the NTB alignments were a gift and after 5 tries in 5 days to get it properly aligned i'm never going back to any of them.

Not to mention the disposal of those batteries when they die out is probably the worst for the environment you cant do anything with them there full of acid and chemicals.

So I just recieved this one last night on the way to the gym with my buddy in the front and one in the back seat. Buddy in the back is his first time in an Evo. I'm getting on the on ramp and I just felt like cruising, nothing crazy, just cruise to the gym with three people in my car.

Kid in the back: C'Mon, Accelerate faster!"
Me: You're an idiot, but whatever.
Kid in the back: "Whoaaa. 110 feels like nothing, my car would still be at 75"
Me: Yea.

15 Minutes later after every car goes past me he yells race them, we pass a 350z. ( I didn't actually race anyone )

Kid in the back: "You think you could actually beat a 350z?"
Me: Where is your brain?
Kid in the back: "You really think you can?"
Me: No, 350z's are the quickest car out there, no comparison..."
Kid in the back: "I think you got it."

I had 2 master-at-arms tell me that I had to shut my Eclipse off at the barracks. When I told them the keys are in my hand it will turn off in a second they continued to argue. In the middle of the argument the car shut off and scared one of the MAAs so much so that she reached for her 9MM.

I also got a comment saying my car looked like a rocket ship hence my license plate RKT SHIP.
