you know you drive an Evo when, after your car has been in the body shop for 2 weeks and you have been driving your wife's '90 Lumina, you realize that you feel like a better person when you drive the Evo.

I always park my evo as far from most cars in the car park,theres so many haters outhere who purposely park so near to you and purposely open their damn door and causes dings on the evo door,sigh.Haters will be haters,lol.
We don't spend real money on appliances (ie. non-enthusiast cars) in our household. What's the point, to toss money away? FWIW, I was raised in a fairly fluent area; my parents were the only folks on our street who weren't millionaires. Guess the make and model of the fanciest, most expensive car? A Volvo V70 wagon owned by a couple whose second car is an old Camry. So, a 90 Lumina makes all the sense in the world to me. Might even be considered a shrewd move.

You know you drive an Evo when the excuse to your wife to buy an Evo was "it will be a great family car hun!" "Evo's are really safe they have recaro safety. Worked for me. Love being an Evo dad. Also used that one to buy a matching baby seat.
