Age of Lancer Evolution Owners [MERGED]

Lose the flashy red calipers, go with 15 inch rims and big 60 series tires, flatten out the fender flares, quiet down the turbo by bleeding off the boost ... or just go buy a Saturn.

So the low wing with the center post removed fits me much better. Also, I have always hated Alteza style lights so I have ditched them as well. This isn't about what neighbors think of how the car looks, it is about what I think of how the car looks.Keith
PS: The CF wing becomes truly effective at speeds over 80 mph....not 45 mph. Read the reviews on the RS modle.
Eureka! (greek for "this bath is too hot")
The EVO's got that huge trunk. Aftermarket: A retractable wing!
But then you lose the excuse: "But it came that way."
(How many younger owners even know who Archimedes was?)

If some guy, today, came running out of the bath yelling, "I've got it!", that probably would be what he was talking about.

But the summer cars got me used to using the side mirrors, anyway. The interior mirrors on most of the Italian cars I've owned over the last 25 years tend to vibrate enough to make the image pretty useless -- which is why they have those big side mirrors.

Well, I am a 35 year old woman who just got an EVO for Christmas. My response when I saw it? Screamed, jumped up and down in the rain and jumped into my husbands arms. I am very excited that I got this car.
I just want to know how come there are not more women driving this car?

I sure wish there were more women driving the Evo
This is funny...
I've learned that age is just a number and as far as I know you get one chance to live life. I have a highly modified 94 Supra and a Evo ( I had a S4 and I'm glad I dumped that thing ). My first car when I was 17 was a 68 Plymouth Roadrunner, I've been loving cars all my life. I love them almost as much as I love women. My take on it is as long as I'm responsible, taking care of my family and paying my bills (I'm out of work at the moment so things are really tough) I should be able to do the things I like to do that make me happy. I've never been a follower, nor have I been one that do things to get another persons approval. I have to make myself happy and man am I having a blast with these cars and the people I've been blessed to meet along the way.
I'm always happy to share my enthusiasm with people that are interested so please don't take the following link the wrong way, I'm just sharing the fun that I'm having http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/...5331&members=1 almost too much fun for a 50 year old kid ..... hehehehe
Regards,
Melvin

I didn't get the time to read this whole thread, but my dad's thinking about getting an Evo (either that evo, cobra, sti), at the ripe old age of 55
, possibly making him the oldest Evo owner out there lmao. Imagine a guy almost 60 year old driving an Evo!?
