Question New from Florida: EVO pricing question

I have no experience with these cars and I'm looking toward you guys for help, insight and advice. I am interested in a dark gray 03 Evo which has been repainted and has no structural damage and never had any body parts replaced. The fender has some paint that is chipped off and is peeling and theres a scratch on the back. Total to fix those areas would be 350. The chassis has around 110k and the motor has been replaced with a used one with around 75k. Interior is clean, outside is clean.

It has an upgraded front bumper and upgraded/larger front mount, HKS catback exhaust, KP intake, HKS turbo timer, HKS BOV, AEM A/F gauge, oil pressure gauge, it's been street tuned (speed density - no maf), ACT 6 puck clutch. Everything else is stock. Transmission shifts smoothly (considering it has a solid mount). There is little to no whine while driving. The car was dynoed and makes around 320 to the wheels and is running at 20 PSI.

What's this car worth? Please let me know if more information is needed.

Interior also looks good. He's going to throw in 1000cc injectors and honeycomb valve springs. I still think he's asking too much. Especially since the car has at least 108k on the chassis and 75 on the motor. Gauge cluster says 71 (replaced it for some reason).

Replaced cluster too? I wouldn't touch that car for more than 11,500...

I've driven it and it drives fine. I don't have anyone who knows evos who are mechanically inclined to go with.

The other option that comes to mind is goes to dealership have them check it out. They know the evolution. Split cost of inspection with seller.

Or a third party inspection and seller pay for cost of it.. Something like 79.00 - 150.00 depending on level of inspection.

Just remember mods dont add much if any value. Curious as to why he replaced the cluster...

Id pay maybe 12-13k max for it

15 firm is kinda dumb for him to ask, hes probably thinking his mods are worth something

I'd say wait it out...another one will come eventually. Especially if he's firm at 15k. Honestly I wouldn't pay more than 12k for this. Good luck!
