Evo 8 Overheating only while driving

Taken last night after gently accelerating and going over 4500 rpm with no boost pressure:

2003 evo 8. Over 120k miles.
Oil is not milky. No white or blue smoke coming from the tail pipe. Coolant in radiator but none in resovoir. Fans do work. No evidence of leaks anywhere. People are saying blown head gasket. Could it be something else? Here's a video.

No check engine light. Doesn't get hot while idling. When it over heats it happens quickly. When I let off the gas and coast a little or keep rpms low it cools off and won't over heat for a while. Ideas?

Mods:
AEM intake
GFB Stealth FX recirc+open Bov
3" TBE with test pipe
EBC @17psi
4" x 19" intercooler and hard pipe kit

Idle: normal temp
Acceleration above 4krpm: Rising Temp
Coasting in any gear at any speed and rpm: normal temp
Accelerating up any incline: Rising Temp
Accelerating with boost: Rapid rising temp.
It all goes back to normal if I drive very easily. Definitely a sticky thermostat? I'd think a thermostat sticking would stay closed and the engine wouldn't cool. Would increased pressure cause it to stick? Could it be the water pump going bad?
Could a radiator leak cause those symptoms?
Just want to rule everything out before I go spend all my money on parts that don't need changing.
Thanks for the responses.

im 99% percent sure its your thermostat, its not opening correctly. most fail open but you got unlucky. thermostats are pretty cheap and easy to replace

of all the options you listed the thermostat is the cheapest solution to your problems and several folks have concluded the same--likely it isn't opening all the way causing your issue under load-- but, move forward with what you will.

It was the thermostat. No more over heating. Thanks guys.

Now a new problem, I feel something tapping under my driver side floorboard when in reverse or low rpms in 1st. Any ideas on what it is and what I should look for? Its like a rotation slapping gently under my floor.
