TOM: New request....

SO I am all about ETS owning and seeing the quality to cost ratio. I have a couple of things I would LOVE to see happen. SO here is my wish list.

1: ETS Spark plug cover. I mean BR and AMS have one....

2: I plan on building my stroker next spring and want to run a ETS turbo kit. What would be amazing is if they just so happened to make a TWIN SCROLL kit like FULL RAce did....

3: Vertical flow IC to go with above mentioned....

SO yeah there is the wish list. Awaiting comments.

Thanks

Seth

Seth,

We may in the future add small "bling" items like a spark plug cover but with all of the development and production currently going on in the shop, it's just not a huge priority to be honest. Until then we'll rely on the word of mouth that great quality parts at very reasonable prices produces

The best part about building all of our stuff here in house and having the design engineers on staff is that we can do custom kits per customer request and maintain great turn around time. We have two bone stock EVOs in the shop right now that would allow us the perfect opportunity to build your twin scroll kit, but you don't want to do it until spring We are going to be doing back to back testing here to find out exactly how differently the kits will perform before we throw any eggs in that basket on a production turbo system.

Vertical flow intercoolers flow well but are not even remotely close to the efficiency that a horizontal flow intercooler can provide. We regularly ship horizontal flow coolers to domestic owners to replace the vertical flow intercoolers that came with their ProCharger systems. The only situation where a vertical flow really even offers any benefit is if you are at the absolute threshold of boost that a given turbo will produce. If you aren't willing to upgrade the turbo and want to make 1-2psi more, a vertical flow will get you there. It won't efficiently cool that charge so the benefits would still be negligible if any. Different designs (whether the idea is new or not) often receive a lot of hype, especially on internet discussion forums. We prefer to use what flat out performs rather than sell you something that would seem to work on paper but doesn't in practice and only sells because it's the current fad. Our customers return based on quality, results and value and we want to be sure we maintain that reputation.

Hey Tom,

Thanks for the reply and info. I appreciate the sharing of knowledge on the Vertical flow too. I said I am waiting til Spring, because I am moving to Tacoma w/ First Group and will be getting a ridiculous bonus. SO when I get there in November I want to start designing the car....

Anyway I'll hit you back again.
