scc weighed the wheels and they were lighter than te37's in the same size. write-up was in the nov. issue w/the wheels discussed on pg114.

If I were a moderator I would say this and lock this thread.

If you want it, buy it.
If you don't want it, don't buy it.

This is america. You have the option to go down to the mall and buy name brand clothing at high prices or go down the street to K-mart and buy the same type of clothing at cheaper prices.

The End.

im hoping that there will be some MR's left around spring time, so they will be a little closer to MSRP by then (we should all hold out from buying one so they have to lower the price :-))
but hopefully in the spring i can trade in my 04 WRX for it.

Yo Tanner depends on if you pay full in cash.
What about others who finance:

Sorry for repost:

MSRP 34,999
Dest 595
Dealer fee 500
tag+tra 280
tax 6% 2152
----------
$ 38,526. IF you pay cash!

Ap fin chg 3,000
----------
$41,526. with pot interest charges ( if you pay MSRP )
======
Are you saying there is no interest, destination, dealer fee, tag, tax and finance charges on a base Z06? Base price is 45000 so imagine it would come out(you do the math) over 50000 easily. Don't skew your arguement by saying an MR is $40000 and you can get a Z06 for 45000.

34,999 plus 2,000 = 36,999+3,228.75=40227.75 plus title and tags and registration. Ouch.

Sorry, add destination which is like 595 or something. More ouch.

Yeah, no kidding. I couldn't have said it better myself. Some people can not critically think or learn to compare and contrast. That or the average age on this message forum seems to be 13-14.

Ah... time to don the Nomex suit!

My credit union will.

But that was not my point. I was simply answering someone's question as to how this is a $40,000 car.

(Evil MR) - if you add approximate finance charges to the cash price you will see what most people will end up paying.

This is still a $40,000+ (MINIMUM) car for those who finance it / finance most of it.

How much you put down up front to offset this cost is a personal variable that will have an "opportunity cost" attached.

approximate finance charge - granted this will very different for each individual - just trying to show on average - most loans are not free.

as someone said before, why are you all shocked at the $35,000 price? that's what the magazines have been saying for the past month atleast.
