How does it deserve a hefty $4500 MSRP increase over regular EVOs..????

 

Two seconds faster around the track than the old evo, and a second faster than the 05 STi. You are paying for a slight performance increase, and a LARGE ride-quality increase according to BHenkel in another thread.

This is subjective, but he said the difference between the old evo and MR was like night and day. Only time will tell though.

 

Drive them back to back and you'll get your answer. The GSR is a great car the MR just a nicer all around package. If you upgraded your suspension alone you would be pushing close to the dame price, and it still would not be a factory set-up. As for the Bilsteins being softer, the car still handles as good or better, you just don't get beat up over every pothole or road imperfection.

Don't forget the aluminum roof and the MR package (guages, alum pedals, etc), and the HIDs (optional on GSR)

 

well, the most important thing.....ACD!!!! you won't have that on 03/04 Evos!

 

$6800 more than RS. That's a lot of mod money.

 

not worth it....bargain on a standard evo and get it for $6500 less than a mr and put that back into it.

 

Those drive tests are worthless... comparisons are done between the new MR
and older EVOs...

I'm talking about 05 MR vs 05 EVO vs 05 RS.


RS gets aluminum roof as well.
MR is 20lbs lighter than regular EVO.
all 3 models COMES WITH ACD.

You would think an 05 RS is just as fast as an MR and a 05 GSR just a little slower than a MR because of the small weight difference. They all have ACD and the increased HP correct?

Stop the hating.....I could argue that the SSL GSR is overpriced when compared to the MR....I mean out the door its only like a 1700$ diff (depending on your tax %)
