if your evo is stock you do not need a turbo timer

and as for the original question... someone else answered it best, this car is technically the same car as the evo 7 and evo 8 with some changes to improve the car, I am sure they have ironed out any bugs they once had

No turbo needs a turbo timer, I don't know what stock or not stock has to do with it, just wait before shut off.

 

If you don't have time to sit and wait 2 minutes for your engine/turbo to cool, then you'll need a TT. Some car alarms come with TT's now.

 

Thats exactly what a turbo timer does...
