I got this information from Tom, the owner of Huntington Beach Mistu, which sells more EVOs than anybody. Tom is on a 10-member board of USA Mitsu dealers that deals directly with and advises MMNA/MMC.

If you want a new EVO IX, don't wait too long.
If that's true the '06 just went up in value.

First I'm sorry there are a lot of stupid dirty car salesman out there but please don't talk bad about all car salesmane because I have been one for over four years and love everything about my job. Second, We had to order our last set of IX's about three months ago because production was going to be stopped for the next eighteen months until the evo X came out. So everything you hear about there being a limited supply if it is not true now will be in 8 months. We currently have about 15 Evos left and we are not getting anymore so what is out there is what is out there! No pressure. I could care less if you buy one from me. However if you are going to get one do it soon so that you can at least get what you want. Everyone should one an evo. I got rid of my first one for another type of vehicle and it was the dumbest thing I ever did so I bought another.
thanks

I think the SE package is worth it. You get HIDs and fogs, BBS rims and an aluminum roof. The cosmetic stuff like the red stitching, SE badge, and air dam extension I can live without, but for the extra $1400, the SE trim is worth it for me.

The IX SE MSRP is $3100 cheaper than the MR and $3600 cheaper than the MR SE.

I'm currently trying to source a new WW EVO 9 RS in New Jersey.
Anyone know of a dealer that has one in the TriState area?

Spoke to dealer, they said '07s will be arriving shortly. Is this poppycock? I already sourced a new '06 RS but now am hesitant on purchasing it.

^^^ There will be no 2007 model year Lancer Evolutions. The dealer is uninformed and/or lying to you. The SE and MR SEs are the final Evo IX version for the US. They should be available through Q1 2007. But after that you have to wait for the Evo X to come out in 2008 or 2009.

The regular, all-new 2008 Lancer is supposed to be out in Q2 2007.

'06s Up in value??? Dude.. every day the car sits on the lot even, it's depreciating.
Meaning, if the car has been sitting on the lot for a year and you think you're getting a great deal b/c the dealer knocks 2K off the MSRP. You're actually getting screwed. In terms of value anyway.
